I finished my milk maids so quickly! I'm pretty pleased with the way they turned out. However, I would say that if I were to do them again, I'd start with the petals and see if doing the buds second results in a better look. I also think the petals look less streaky/stripy when I look at them in real life than they do in the photos. That's an interesting development. Would they look as stripy to someone else? I'm not sure.
I tried to doing a split stitch around both the buds and the petals to make them stand out a little bit more but didn't like the result and too that out. I did draw a line on the leaves to do my fishbone and I think that was a good call!
