New Crafting Posts

Oh, how busy I've been! Sadly not with crafting though!! Well, I've done some but other things are getting in the way!!

This project was for a friend of mine. Her family always gives Spode ceramics to each other, and my supply had dried up. My husband suggested embroidering a little banner and I thought that was brilliant!

In December I really enjoy doing a little daily Christmas-related embroidery, and this little EmBeaRoidery Advent wreath from 2023 fit the bill!

Just a little stocking I made for my supervisor!

I really got into doing little samplers of stitches in my variegated floss! I got the idea from a magazine touting Marg Low Design's. I don't know if she has a pattern for this or not. At the time of writing this, you can see the idea in her banner at the top of the page.

I'm not sure anymore where this reindeer came from. If I had to hazard a guess it would be Chloe Redfern but she's really moved into almost exclusively doing felt- or so it seems to me.

I made this little Darning/Mending Options for the library because people are always asking me how to mend things in the makerspace there and I thought it would be easier to show them options. I didn't mount it so that people could see the hole on the backside as well.

I named the sewing machines and made them dust covers. One side is the makerspace logo and the other is "Makers gonna make"!

There's a little free art "house" nearby and this cynoprint of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer seemed a little unloved so I embellished him and returned him to the free art "house" and he was immediately snatched up and hopefully getting a lot of love!

I made a little teddy bear as a model for one of the children that comes into the makerspace and then I gifted it to my friend's one-year-old!

Loose Ends is making a quilt and asked for volunteers to embroider stars so this i my contribution to the cause!

I have a friend who loves crows (I mean- who doesn't! They're awesome!!!) and I thought this would make a cute little badge for her. I have seen this design floating around on the internet and have no idea who made it or if AI did.

This is a darling Jessica Long design that I've loved since I first saw it. I only just got around to doing it though.

When my friend first showed me this Jessica Long pattern, I knew I wanted to do it. We have redwing blackbirds in this area and they are always by the cattails!! I decided I wanted to try my hand at doing it as a layered project and I had some organza. It's not as transparent as I would like but I think it's pretty good!

I love this Emillie Ferris snail!! It's adorable!!
